MICHELLE COVAL is a bail bond specialist and Legal Assistant. She works closely with a number of bail bondsmen in Central Florida. Her many years of experience in this niche area of practice is a great value to the clients of The Defense Group. When a client fails to appear for a scheduled appearance and the Court forfeits the bond, it is Ms. Coval that is involved in communicating with the bondsman to see if they are willing to reinstate the bond. Where the bond is not reinstated, she works to see that the bondsman is able to recover as much of the bond as is allowed under the law. This of course reduces the liability for the person that signed as indemnitor for our clients bail.
