Rory Tufts is the most recent addition to our Legal Assistant staff. Rory began her career as a legal assistant in the area of criminal law in 1981, when she worked for the firm of Gitlitz, Keegan & Dittmar in Miami. Then in 1984, she went to work for Billing, Cochran, Heath, Lyles and Mauro, P.A., where she remained through 1997.  After moving to Orlando,   she worked at two other firms as a legal assistant before joining The Defense Group in 2009. In addition to her direct legal experience, Rory has been a licensed insurance agent and had the opportunity to deal directly with the public on many levels. Most of her current work deals with DUI and misdemeanor cases in Orange County. She is fluent in Spanish and is availabel to assist any of our Spanish speaking clients.
