Originally named Saint Lucia County, Brevard was established in the mid 1800s and renamed as such a dozen years later after George Washington Brevard. This county has a rich history dating back to the arrival of Juan Ponce De Leon onto the shore of Florida. Brevard County is the home of Kennedy Space Center, spring training for the Washington nationals, and many beautiful beaches. With its population growing, last estimated at over 536,000, Brevard offers residents and visitors alike much to do and see.

The main courthouse for the county is located in Viera, along with the county’s many other administrative offices. Located on Judge Fran Jamieson Way, the courthouse complex makes it easily accessible from the I-95. Two other courthouses, one located in downtown Titusville, which continues to be the county seat, and the other in Melbourne, provide residents easy access to court facilities in a county that has over 1000 square miles of land.

Our firm maintains a satellite office in Titusville near the detention facility to assist those residents of Brevard County that cannot come to one of our other offices. From this office we assist clients from the many of the county’s cities and towns and unincorporated areas of the county.
